10 Key Actions for a Safer World

ENDING VIOLENCE AGAINST BLACK & MINORITY ETHNIC (BME) WOMEN & GIRLS

WHAT BME WOMEN WANT – 10 KEY ACTIONS FOR A SAFER WORLD

In the Autumn of 2010, SBS and the End Violence against Women coalition organised consultation seminars on a national strategy on violence against BME women and girls. Over 200 individuals and organisations attended these events around the UK. We agreed 10 key actions which need to be urgently undertaken to address and prevent violence against BME women and girls.

Please use this campaign leaflet to lobby local authorities, government departments, health authorities, social services, education authorities and professionals to create a safer world for BME women & girls.
