Southall Black Sisters Opens Doors to Homeless Women

Due to severe weather warnings for the next week, Southall Black Sisters are opening their doors to homeless women in Southall and Ealing, between Tuesday 27th February and Sunday 4th March (this date may be extended should the severely cold weather continue).

Operated by volunteers from the SBS Support Group, the centre will be open between 10 am and 4 pm.

We will be providing food and hot drinks, and a warm, dry space for women to relax and shelter from the cold.

We will also be providing basic toiletries including period care packs.

There will also be advocates on hand to provide advice and information on homelessness, housing, mental health and addiction support services within the area.

Please Note: Due to our size, we have a maximum capacity of 25 women per day.

Please share this information throughout your network and if you know of a homeless woman, please invite her to our centre in Southall.
